Opening the FRITZ!Box user interface

You can use fritz.box or http://169.254.1.1 to easily access the FRITZ!Box user interface with a browser. ✔ 

You can open the user interface on all computers, smartphones, or tablets connected to the FRITZ! home network by entering the address http://fritz.box or http://169.254.1.1 in a web browser.

The user interface can always be reached, even without internet access. You can configure all of the FRITZ!Box functions and view detailed information about the product, your access, and connections in the user interface.

Please note:

  • You can either use http://fritz.box or the fallback IP address http://169.254.1.1 to open the user interface. In addition, you can use the FRITZ!Box's local IP address (http://192.168.178.1 in the factory settings) to access it.
  • Devices using guest access are denied access to the user interface.
