Using the FRITZ!Mesh Set without a FRITZ!Box

Mesh Wi-Fi with FRITZ! is now possible without a FRITZ!Box. In no time at all, the FRITZ!Mesh Set creates a FRITZ! Mesh Wi-Fi network with optimally coordinated, high-performance Wi-Fi access points at your disposal.

Configure one of the FRITZ!Repeaters from the FRITZ!Mesh Sets as a Mesh Master and connect it directly to the internet connection or an available repeater. Since the Mesh Master establishes the internet connection, all FRITZ!Repeater functions (such as firewall, parental controls) are available without restriction.

If your internet service provider provides a modem or ONT and you do not have a router, configure the FRITZ!Mesh Set for direct use on the internet connection:
